Part 10 - Duties of Maintenance Officer
(cf. Article 5 of Constitution)
The Maintenance Officer shall have the responsibility of maintaining PCSAR buildings, grounds, vehicles, and rescue equipment in a response ready condition in cooperation with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office Fleet Manager and Pennington County Buildings and Grounds.
The Maintenance Officer shall keep a file of all operating instructions, warranty information, parts lists, etc., for all PCSAR equipment.
The Maintenance Officer shall keep maintenance logs on all vehicles and rescue equipment.
The Maintenance Officer shall ensure truck checks are completed at regular intervals.
