Standing Order #7 - Uniforms

PURPOSE
The purpose of this Standing Order is to state the policy of PCSAR regarding uniforms for members.
SCOPE/POLICY
It is the policy of PCSAR to encourage members to wear the team uniform and conduct themselves in a professional manner when representing the team.
RESPONSIBILITY
It will be the responsibility of the Team Leader to enforce the policy stated in this document.
PROCEDURE
The regulations concerning the PCSAR uniform are as follows:
The dress uniform for all members will consist of a blue polo shirt and dress pants (including khakis, Dockers, etc.).
The work uniform for all members will consist of a t-shirt imprinted with the PCSAR logo, jeans, blue team jacket, baseball-style cap imprinted with the PCSAR logo (optional), and footwear appropriate for the conditions.
Upon acceptance as a team member, individuals will be given gear and attire as laid forth in Standing Order #24, Length of Service Awards.
Members are encouraged to wear their uniforms to regular team meetings and when representing the team at other activities.
While in uniform, the member is an official representative of the team and must not allow his/her actions to discredit the team.
The uniform is to be kept clean and in a good state of repair.
The blue team jacket and/or PCSAR cap may be worn with civilian clothes.
Trainees will be issued a gray PCSAR T-shirt until they are voted on as team members. This shirt will be worn in place of the blue polo at team functions.
