Part 2 - Duties of Members
(cf. Article 4 of Constitution)
All members of PCSAR shall have a thorough knowledge of the Constitution and Bylaws and agree to abide by them and the Standing Orders enacted by the membership.
It shall be the duty of each member of PCSAR to take part in its activities and to act in whatever capacity the member may be called.
Members of PCSAR shall provide services based on human need, with respect for human dignity, unrestricted by consideration of nationality, race, creed, color, or status.
Members of PCSAR shall maintain professional competence and demonstrate concern for the competence of other members. Each member shall assume responsibility in defining and upholding standards of professional practice and education.
Each member of PCSAR shall respect and hold in confidence all information of a confidential nature obtained in the course of professional work unless required by law to divulge such information.
Members of PCSAR shall refuse to participate in unethical procedures and assume the responsibility to expose incompetence or unethical conduct of others to the appropriate authority in a proper and professional manner.
